    Position summary

    brands and Quaker brands.

    • This includes assessing new ingredients, packaging and processing solutions, authoring ingredient statements and nutrition facts, partnering to substantiate new claims, 3rd party certification management, and approving graphics that help consumers make informed choices about PepsiCo Foods

    • This role will also be responsible for evaluating complex concepts and claims derived from innovation and renovation initiatives for the US.

    • This position will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the regulatory information in R&D databases, in specifications on final artwork.

    • This position will also require working cross-functionally to provide input on new ingredient, processing and packaging solutions, nutrition labeling, claims and regulatory questions

    • The position will require an excellent understanding and application of US Food and Drug Administration labeling regulations to assure the accuracy of ingredient statements, nutrition facts, allergen declarations and claims.

    • As a Senior Regulatory Scientist, the position must be able to think strategically as well as independently to monitor, interpret and ensure compliance with US regulations today and into the future.

    • This role provides an excellent opportunity to expand existing regulatory expertise while honing technical skills working in the complex US Foods business

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850

    • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process

    • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually

    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

    Qualifications

    • BS in Nutrition Science, Food Science, Engineering or equivalent as minimum.

    • 3+ years of regulatory affairs experience with direct experience working with FDA Regulations--required

    • Preferred USDA food regulations knowledge

    • Strong communication, organization and influencing skills.

    • Effective collaborator, ability to work independently and work well with others.

    • Experience in providing regulatory advice and managing complex food innovation and compliance projects.

    • Strong computer skills and database management.
