    Position summary

    • Disposal of sample retains and housekeeping of the lab.

    • Oversee inventory of needed consumables to avoid shortage.

    • Participate in proficiency testing maintaining proficient status in raw material testing.

    • Leading by example with a clear commitment to personal safety, process safety and food safety.

    • Compliance with all GMP, FSMA, FSSC22000, OSHA and Plant Safety Policies.

    • Responsible for maintaining and complying with all applicable PepsiCo, Federal, State and local regulations and standards.

    • Authority to immediately address safety risks.

    • Ability to cross train and assist as back up for other analyses when needed.

    • Participate in Quality lab and department meetings.

    • Participate in corrective actions and root causes regarding nonconformances related to raw material/vendor issues in QMS portal.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $55,800 - $87,000.

    • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.

    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

    Qualifications

    • 1-3 years of analytical testing experience in a manufacturing environment.

    • BS in Microbiology, Chemistry or related field.

    • Analytical testing experience is required.

    • Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required.

    • Experience using SAP preferred

    • Experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) preferred

    Competencies Required:

    • Self-Motivated individual with strong QA/QC experience.

    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

    • Strong Communicator across various channels

    • Works effectively independently as well as part of a team.

    • This is a mid -day shift that will need to be flexible to cover day and night shift when analysts are out.
