    The North America Insights & Intelligence (NAI&I) Team

    The North America Insights & Intelligence (NAI&I) team drive a human-centric and integrated Power of One (PO1) approach to insights and intelligence across our North America Commercial and Consumer organizations, to drive market-leading growth for PepsiCo. The team provides deep Food & Beverage expertise across Shopper Analytics & Insights, Consumer Insights, Commercial Intelligence and Category Leadership to build best-in-class capabilities and offer focused programs to drive growth with our customers.

    Senior Category Analyst

    This role will support the Strategy and Business Intelligence on the PepsiCo Kroger Category Leadership team across the PepsiCo Foods US (PFUS) portfolio which includes Frito-Lay and Quaker Foods. The primary focus of this role will be on the Quaker Foods Portfolio. The primary objectives of this role are to drive accelerated growth, market share gains, and elevated customer partnership via Shopper/Customer Insights. Key accountabilities include supporting the shopper and consumer insights for Kroger and PepsiCo Joint Business Planning, Internal PepsiCo Initiatives and for discovering new opportunities to drive future business growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with internal stake holders including headquarters brand teams, shopper marketing, and finance to inform and develop long-term assortment and promotional strategies that unlock sales growth and market share expansion

    • Provide analytics, insights and recommendations to support Quaker Annual Operating Plan, Joint Business Planning meetings, new item meetings and internal business inquiries

    • Develop impactful content to convey growth opportunities to internal and external partners across the main levers of our business with focus on assortment, space, promotions, pricing and displays

    • Update reports and scorecards on a regular basis to help the Quaker cross-functional team quickly understand business results

    • Utilize information from multiple sources such as 84.51 Stratum, OnDemand, Circana POS, Circana Panel, Numerator and internal research to identify opportunities and develop growth strategies

    • Deliver shopper-centric insights and solutions that drive category growth, market share expansion and financial plan success

    • Develop strong working relationships with Kroger, 84.51, PLM, Internal PepsiCo teams and all relevant business partners

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850.

    • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

    • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.

    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required, MBA degree preferred

    • 2+ years' experience across CPG and Category Management preferred

    • Proficiency in shopper data and analytics

    • Experience leveraging Circana and/or Nielsen syndicated POS and Panel data

    • Preferred experience with Kroger's OnDemand data, 84.51 data and the Kroger KOMPASS process

    • Well versed in Microsoft suite of products such as Excel and PowerPoint

    • Comfortable and desiring to present at the Senior Executive Level

    • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task

    • Strong project management skills, ability to thrive in a matrix environment

    • Creativity and strategy skills

    • Persuasive leadership and influencing skills

    • Business relationship management

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong analytical, data analysis, problem-solving, and storytelling experience
