    • Optimize data models and performance for large-scale telemetry in Cosmos DB or similar NoSQL databases.

    • Develop and manage RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices to support real-time metrics and logs ingestion.

    • Drive the adoption of DevOps and CI/CD practices; automate builds, deployments, and testing pipelines.

    • Mentor and guide junior engineers, lead code reviews, and ensure best practices in software development.

    • Engage with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-impact solutions based on business needs.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100.

    • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

    • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.

    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, particularly in observability, platform engineering, or DevOps.

    • Strong expertise in Elasticsearch, Grafana, and metrics/log management solutions.

    • Extensive experience with Node.js and React.js, including optimization and scalability for production environments.

    • Deep knowledge of Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

    • Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

    • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

    • Bachelor degree required, Computer Science preferred

    • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for distributed systems and performance optimization.

    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders across teams.
