    Position summary

    gn related training to PepsiCo associates.

    • Lead the Global Food Safety strategy with the implementation of the Global Hygienic Design Standard and Sanitation Standard. Provide Sanitation and Hygienic Design Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the organization on the principles of contamination, sanitation chemicals, sanitary equipment, and hygienic design.

    • Support hazard and contaminant control through existing sanitation programs, hygienic design standards, and global manuals.

    • Drive horizon scanning and lead the pilot and deployment of novel technology and process initiatives as related to sanitation and hygienic design improvements.

    • Collaborate across the PepsiCo Food Safety Center of Excellence (FSCoE) to explore new capabilities which maximize productivity, increase agility, and drive new insights while sharing learnings across the broader organization.

    • Work with Product Developers and Engineering functions to support the assessment of new product equipment and infrastructure designs, sanitation chemistry and methods, and process validation.

    • Deliver against the Sanitation Authority People capability agenda. Champion creative-thinking and people development to elevate and grow dedicated team members while supporting their career aspirations and delivering business objectives and embodying the PepsiCo Way.

    • Ability to travel to field locations (25-50%).

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100 based on a full-time schedule.

    • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.

    • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.

    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

    Qualifications

    • B.S/M.S./PhD in Food Science, Engineering, Technology, Chemistry, or Microbiology fields working in sanitation and/or hygienic design.

    • B.S. with 10+, M.S. with 8+, Ph.D. with 5+ years of progressive experience industry experience in Manufacturing Operations, Food Safety, or Quality. Having 5+ years' experience of leading a team is a plus.

    • Having expert knowledge in sanitation and hygienic design experience is a must.

    • Having good understanding of common beverage and food manufacturing processes and related equipment.

    • Working knowledge of food safety, microbiology, pathogen environmental monitoring, cGMPs, etc. Familiar with Food Safety Plan, HACCP, auditing schemes, etc.

    • Ability to achieve quality results consistently despite obstacles. Monitors progress against goals, identifies issues and takes corrective action early.

    • Able to provide guidance/support appropriately to meet business timelines; successfully handle adverse circumstances.

    • Sound data interpretation skills and CAPA development. Ability to interpret complex data and relate impact on the business.

    • Being results-oriented "change agent" who can understand different scenarios and help facilitate big-picture and tactical execution throughout all projects. Being able to drive an ever-evolving agenda and clearly communicate responsibilities to team members.

    • Having superb organizational, communication, and analytical skills and being able to drive impact, influence others, and articulate ideas through all levels of the organization. Must be able to develop effective working relationships and gain resource support to enable business and team success.
