PBUS Strategy at PepsiCo
The PepsiCo Beverages US (PBUS) Strategy function plays a critical role in charting the long-term growth and portfolio development of PepsiCo's US Beverages operating unit. We are tasked with ensuring the company invests in the assets and capabilities needed to stay ahead of the competition and maintain market leadership. This entails developing actionable solutions for some of the most challenging issues facing the company.
To bring fresh and disruptive thinking to the ever-changing macro-environment, PepsiCo has Strategists aligned to each of our Operating Units (e.g., PBUS), Global Businesses, and to PepsiCo Corporate. Joining PepsiCo's Global Strategy function will enable you to experience the breadth and depth of PepsiCo's global portfolio and build a deep understanding of both the business and the industry. Whether you decide to remain in Strategy or pursue a leadership position in another function, the experience provides incredible possibilities for a dynamic career at PepsiCo.
As a PBUS Strategy Manager you will contribute to a range of critical and impactful business priorities. The PBUS Strategy team has 3 broad responsibilities:
Oversee and execute PBUS long-term enterprise-wide strategic planning process, for PBUS Sr. Leadership, PepsiCo Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors
Serve as the internal consulting team and business partners to PBUS organization and Sr. Leadership team
Partner across other Strategy teams and efforts across PepsiCo North America and worldwide as applicable
Provide thought partnership to project leaders and business partners on a broad range of business-critical topics
Serve as the analytics point-person on projects, applying logical and creative thinking to drive to fact-based insights
Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills, including the ability to challenge the status quo
Build project deliverables in partnership with project leaders
Assist in the planning and execution of the enterprise strategic planning process
Execute against time-sensitive requests from VP of PBUS Strategy, PepsiCo North America Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, and other cross-functional business leaders and partners
Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic / geopolitical trends
Contribute to capability building for the Global Strategy function (e.g., recruiting, training, knowledge management)
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100.
Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
5 years of strategy experience in a variety of positions, both internally and externally.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA strongly preferred.
6-8 years of top-tier Consulting firm strategy experience.
Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Highly analytical, motivated, decisive thought leader with excellent managerial skills.
Strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and develop analytical frameworks.
Outstanding project management skills.
High Emotional Intelligence and verbal and written communication skills to educate and influence senior leaders; ability to "manage up".
Strong knowledge of MS Office suite.
Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of macro, social, cultural, consumer, and business trends.
This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
This position is a hybrid model, with 3X a week in-office requirement.
