    The Territory Sales Leader is responsible for leading a team of 8-14 frontline sales representatives, frontline sales leaders and Merchandising Team Leads to drive superior marketplace execution and customer service. The Territory Sales Leader will also have the opportunity to cultivate relationships and manage multiple priorities to make a positive business impact. The requisition is open for two TSL positions; one in Anchorage, AK and one in Soldotna, AK.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for volume, revenue and market share growth in a designated

    • Responsible for managing sales and merchandising hours, overtime and labor budget

    • Leading collaboration and team effectiveness of customer pod structure

    • Manage, motivate, and develop a team of employees in order to increase sales, daily productivity and improve business performance

    • Conduct 'work-withs/route rides' with employees to develop their selling and customer service skills

    • Work proactively with customers to understand business needs and develop strong relationships

    • Maintain process improvement to further enhance productivity of PepsiCo's selling and delivery model

    • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure orders are submitted, delivered, and merchandised according to plan

    • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance

    • Hold regular weekly meetings with cross functional teams, including Sales Representatives and Merchandising Team Leads to discuss sales and territory strategies

    • Set productivity and service targets and ensure proper resource allocation between accounts

    • Oversee the Merchandising Function, including ensuring proper coverage of full-time Merchandisers in their designated account territories

    • As needed, assist Sales Representatives or Merchandising Team Leads with ad hoc tasks, including but not limited to coaching, intermittent daily routing, and/or customer onboarding.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,900 - $128,700.

    • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

    • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out quarterly.

    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 2 years managing frontline employees or demonstrated leadership capabilities

    • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience

    • Consumer packaged goods experience in a direct store delivery environment

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/ or weekends

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)

    • Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically

    • Must have a valid driver's license

    • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

    • Safe driving record strongly preferred

    • At least 1 year of sales experience

    HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:

    • Consumer packaged goods in a direct store delivery environment: 2 years (Preferred)

    • Customer relationship management experience (preferred)

    • Previous people management experience or demonstrated leadership capabilities
