2025 Fulltime Effector Power Electrical Engineer I (Onsite)

ht Termination products; power systems from all up round to the lowest level power regulation; servo electronics supporting all mechanical motion in our products and low noise mixed signal electronics that provides the analog to digital interface to our front-end sensors. What You Will Do

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion (and related analog) circuitry. This circuitry will dominantly involve non-isolated and isolated switch mode power converters and linear converters. Main emphasis is on board-mounted power end use applications.

• Help to see circuit card development through its design phases, from requirements definition through initial integration testing.

• Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities, with moderate support from senior engineers. Assist in layer stackup definition.

• Engage in personal technical growth.

• Clearly present your work product to functional and program leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.

• Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with one or more of the following non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.

• Beginner level experience using tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or other similar tools.

• This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer

• A self-starter, a quick learner, be able to function in a dynamic environment, and have good time management skills. Should have an appreciation for how successful teams are structured.

• Experience communicating and documenting technical topics at the small team level.

• Experience with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, and/or Hyperlynx.

• Experience with Circuit simulator SIMPLIS or LTSpice, and/or system simulator SABER.

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
