"We need you. We want you to know you are welcome here, and there are many opportunities to be recognized. This has been one of the most open companies I've worked for. You will work hard, and there are some inefficiencies that need to be corrected, but as a global company in a relatively conservative field we are extremely liberal in our internal culture. We want you to succeed and bring your authentic self to work!"

"Look at one's specific department to see if there is a huge gender gap. My department had seven sr. manager or higher positions available at one time. All filled by men. "

"Do your research on your salary for the job you are going to take before accepting the job. We had to fight to get equal pay in my current department, and have been told by leadership that the gender gap is alarming."
