What You Will Do
Negotiation; build a strategy, lead, and drive contract negotiations on complex real estate agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions and commercials are achieved on a functional, financial and performance objectives for RTX.
Strategic Sourcing; responsible for developing an annual strategic sourcing plan in collaboration with functional leads, as well as carrying out the developed strategy.
Contract Review & Drafting; review, draft requirements, and revise a variety of contracts including construction, facilities management, project management and leasing agreements.
Collaboration; work closely with internal stakeholders including legal, finance, cyber to align contract terms with company objectives.
Vendor Management; manage relationship with suppliers ensuring adherence to agreed terms and resolving and contract related issues.
Market Analysis; stay informed of industry trends, changes, and best practices and strategic sourcing leading practices and provide guidance to functional leads.
Continuous Improvement; recommend and implement process improvements in deal tracking (savings, risk, metrics) and contract management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Effectively manage renewals, RFPs, and RFQs in a fast-paced environment.
Travel up to 10%, or as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in RFPs, contract negotiations on a global scale in Facilities Management, Construction, Project Management, leasing and transactions.
Prior experience leveraging excellent negotiation, communications and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience converting requirements into executable strategies, to include developing and managing an integrated master schedule.
Previous experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience identifying problems and solving them efficiently and effectively.
Previous experience performing contract redlines and drafting contracts based on stakeholder requirements.
Strong working skillset with Microsoft Suite of Product including Excel, Word and Teams.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer
Minimum 10 years of experience in large, cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts
Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Business acumen to connect functional requirements and concerns to contract performance.
Demonstrated ability to understand financial information, budgets and program performance and develop strategies and business cases to improve performance in these areas.
Excellent, communication and presentation skills and demonstrated business results working internally with internal functional service owners in addition to external suppliers.
Understanding of the end-to-end procurement process.
Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team.
Ability to develop effective presentations and documents used for leadership reviews.
Experience in negotiating statements of work for contingent labor and software contracts.
Location
Hybrid from Farmington, CT; hybrid employees work both onsite and offsite, regularly.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
