    What You Will Do

    • As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications.

    • Use blueprints, sketches, computer-aided design (CAD) and work instructions to produce precision parts

    • Produce parts that meet required machine output specifications while maintaining high production rates

    • Perform precise measurements for cutting/shaping tasks

    • Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot, and appropriately adjust inputs to correct any issues outside specified tolerances

    • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring tools and gauges

    • 1st shift or 2nd shift (M-Thu) OR AWW1 or AWW2 (Fri-Sun) availability

    • Review and understand blueprints, drawings, and/or written instructions to understand the machine output specifications.

    • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.

    • Perform basic shop math, use precision measurement instruments and metrology tools.

    • Assist in the development of other team members.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    • HS Diploma or GED

    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

    Qualifications We Prefer

    • 6 months manufacturing experience, technical training, military training experience, or completion of Certified Manufacturing Specialist Program

    • 1 year of CNC machine operator experience that would include, but not limit to retooling, minor maintenance, changeovers, and first article inspection.

    • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals

    • Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements

    • Experience with MS Office Suite

    Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
