What You Will Do
Raytheon Digital Technologies is seeking Data Governance Tools Administrator to support our Data Platform and Tools team. Our team provides application administration and configuration support for data centric platforms and tools such as Informatica (PowerCenter, AXON, IDQ, EDC), Matillion, Fivetran HRV and scheduling tools, and is in the process of standing up an Immuta environment to support data access automation.
Although the primary responsibility for this position will include the management and oversight of our Informatica Governance suite (AXON, EDC, and IDQ) along with some of our existing staff, this position is also expected to work with our corporate resources to help stand up and provide support for an Immuta environment. This will include providing controls associated with user access primarily to Snowflake and Databricks using Immuta as the access control rules engine.
For all our Data Governance solutions, this individual will manage the permissions, attributes, and groups associated with access to the tools and their respective data stores. Over time and in partnership with Raytheon Data Governance and respective Data Owners, this individual will help craft and deploy Immuta access rules that adhere to DOD compliance, privacy and policies associated with Raytheon data. This individual should be familiar with role based access control, attribute based access control, and policy based access control (RBAC, ABAC, and PBAC) principles as well as role-based security in Snowflake.
As an administrator you would be responsible for:
User Account Management:
Create and maintain user accounts in the Data Governance systems (AXON, EDC, IDQ, Immuta).
Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes.
Ensure accurate user information and permissions.
Permissions and Access Control:
Work closely with system administrators, data owners, governance resources (EXIM, Legal, etc.) to manage permissions.
Add or remove permissions from user accounts as needed.
Collaborate with other teams to define and enforce access policies.
Data Governance Platform Administration (Immuta focus):
Support the daily operations of the Immuta platform.
Troubleshoot user issues related to access, permissions, and functionality.
Monitor system performance and address any issues promptly.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and legal/compliance/governance teams.
Communicate effectively with users to address their needs and provide assistance.
Data Compliance:
Understand the legal and ethical use of data.
Ensure that data access is granted only to authorized users for valid reasons.
Uphold privacy and security standards.
In addition to supporting data access, this role will be responsible for backup support rotation duties for additional services including Informatica Axon and Enterprise Data Catalog and Fivetran HVR.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.
Experience with Informatica Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) for data discovery and classification
Fine grained access management and access management policies.
Experience with role-based access controls within Snowflake or similar technologies.
Experience with data classification for data privacy and sensitivity.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Immuta user administration or similar access control capabilities.
Familiar with Active Directory and LDAP, using groups and roles.
Familiar with Ping Federate Identity
Understanding peripheral BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI and Matillion as it pertains to securing data through access management.
Familiar with access controls within Databricks

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
