What You Will Do
Work with operations & quality teams for new process integration
Implement process improvements to establish world-class repair process
Help to develop and enforce standardized engineering practices, processes, tools, and methods across products under your ownership
Ensure released technical data is interpreted and implemented correctly per FAA requirements to operate
Handle technical communications with external technical support teams for new tech-data release or technical information requests
Support routine technical problems and requests from inspectors and machine operators
What You Will Learn
The Aftermarket Development Program is a Pratt & Whitney development program designed to provide real world and classroom technical training to high potential engineers. Our two-year, rotational program provides challenging opportunities via short-term work assignments across the enterprise as you move to locations around the U.S.A.
The ADP is a two-year program consisting of three, challenging rotational assignments of eight-month duration within the domestic overhaul and component repair facilities. Through the hands-on rotational assignments, individuals will not only develop a solid knowledge base of aftermarket engineering and our products, but also be exposed to a vast range of networking and leadership opportunities.
At the conclusion of the program, graduates will be prepared to assume an engineering assignment at one of Pratt & Whitney's Aftermarket business units.

Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Typical fields of study are Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Materials or Industrial Engineering
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Qualifications We Prefer
Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
Previous co-op/internship experience
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with project management
Has had an introduction to engineering principles and tools
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

What is my role type?

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
