    Position summary

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Works on multiple projects to assist in the technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluating alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.

    • Performs analyses at all levels of total system product including: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

    • Conducts engineering processes using standard work, including verification and qualification procedures.

    • Synthesize analyses of data and uses the results to prepare technical reports of findings and recommendations.

    • Seeks to identify possible problems presented in applicable projects that may cause a delay or exceed budget.

    • Contributes to finding appropriate solutions.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Must possess a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Avionics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in a Systems Engineering or Systems Integration position.

    • At least 2 years of experience working with aircraft cabin management systems or in-flight entertainment systems;

    • At least 2 years of experience with aviation-related systems engineering lifecycle activities, such as requirements development, requirements decomposition, architecture, system design, test development, or test execution;

    • At least 1 year of experience performing aviation-related systems integration.

    The salary range for this position is $76,502.00 to $124,000.00 per year. This is the correct compensation range. Please disregard any additional verbiage noted below pertaining to the salary range.

    The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
