Job Summary:
The Raytheon Digital Technology (DT) Common PDM Solutions (CPDMS) Team provides development, installation, and sustainment of Product Data Management (PDM) systems used for the development of Raytheon's advanced technology Products. Interns in Product Data Management (PDM) Support can expect to have exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities within DT. Below is a summary of some of the PDM administrator's duties.
Install and configure complex PDM systems
Demonstrate a basic understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy
PDM Admins work in a mixed Operating Systems Environment i.e Windows and Linux
Assist customers in resolving support issues for the engineering community using helpdesk and task assignment methods
Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements
Document and follow basic PDM processes and procedures
Work as a team member in a diversified technological environment
Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a mild to moderate scope and complexity
Qualifications You Must Have:
Actively enrolled sophomore or higher by the start of Summer 2025 and pursing a bachelor's or advanced degree in the field of STEM; Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
Familiarity with the LINUX and Windows Operating Systems
This position is for an actively enrolled sophomore, junior, senior, or post-grad intern based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
Sophomore - must have completed 30 credit hours by start of internship
Junior - must have completed 60 credit hours of college by start of internship
Senior - must have completed 90 credit hours of college by start of internship
Post-Graduate - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship
Qualifications We Prefer:
3.0 cumulative GPA desired
Preferred majors are: Information Technology, Management Information Systems
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures
Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
Familiarity with PDM systems such as Windchill, Teamcenter, or Inovia
Familiarity with ORACLE database support and SQL queries
Demonstrated ability to create LINUX shell scripts
Ability to learn and apply various techniques for automation of administrative tool/operating system tasks using tools such as ANSIBLE, PYTON, and Ant
Familiarity with Java and J2EE based information systems and associated components such as Web servers and Servlet Engines (Apache, Tomcat, IIS)
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
