What You Will Do
The successful candidate will be someone with exceptional abilities to think and analyze complex fact and legal situations, communicate responses and recommendations through verbal and written work product, and work directly with Raytheon attorneys as well as management personnel and outside counsels in a collaborative environment.
What You Will Learn
The Legal Intern will support a broad spectrum of real legal challenges posed by Raytheon's work around the world and will be exposed to a wide-range of legal practice areas, including but not limited to corporate governance, labor and employment, litigation, functional (environmental health and safety, facilities/real estate, security, quality, safety, engineering, digital technology, communications), international, transactions, government contracts, compliance, and legal operations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Must be an active law student pursuing a Juris Doctor, having completed at least their first year of law school at an accredited nationally recognized law school by the Summer of 2025 and have a bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited nationally recognized school
Excellent analytical ability and legal drafting skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to confidently interact and communicate effectively with other members of the LCC as well as outside counsel and many diverse internal groups and teams at all levels
Work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment while being able to work independently
Qualifications We Prefer:
3.0 cumulative GPA
Enrollment in a relevant dual degree program (i.e., MBA/JD) is a plus
Prior experience in corporate governance, operations, and/or transactions
Ability to research, analyze and learn new concepts and legal issues quickly to facilitate problem solving and implementation of practical business solutions

Onsite in Dallas, TX, Tucson, AZ, Boston, MA: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
