    Position summary

    ollowing position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

    PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

    The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the management of international components of U.S. tax compliance. This includes ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant tax laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions, while maintaining compliance with U.S. tax reporting requirements for international operations. The role involves coordinating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as finance teams, legal departments, and external advisors, to ensure accurate tax filings, timely submission of forms, and proper documentation. Additionally, the position requires staying up to date with changing tax laws and regulations in both the U.S. and other countries, and providing guidance on the tax implications of global business transactions, structures, and operations. This position plays a critical role in mitigating tax risks, optimizing the company's tax position internationally, and supporting strategic business decisions related to global operations.

    What You Will do:

    Duties include but are not limited to

    • Manage international compliance for RTX

    • Form 5471, Form 8865, Form 8858

    • Data gathering, analysis, & review

    • Data mapping from financial to tax systems

    • Entity management

    • Corptax processing

    • Foreign Tax Credit process (861-8 allocations, earnings & profits, U.S. inclusions, Form 1118, return to accrual analysis)

    • Elections and disclosures

    • Design and implement international compliance process improvements, including automation, global processing and review, and ACE (standardizing) international compliance

    • Manage co-sourcing relationship

    • Interface with International Group on FTC planning and transactional reporting

    • Assist with yearend financial reporting

    • Coordinate international aspects of subpart F, dividends, and FTC modeling exercises

    • Support federal audit group

    • Other related projects as required

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • This role typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and at least 10 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and 7 years' experience gained in a public accounting or large multinational corporate tax environment

    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

    • At least 7 years' experience with and understanding of U.S. international tax law relating to subpart F, 861, foreign tax credit, outbound transactions, and U.S. tax reporting and disclosure requirements

    • At least 7 years' experience and understanding of international compliance process Identify and implement continuous process improvements

    • At least 7 years' experience with and understanding of the impact of income taxes on the financial statements and of opportunities to combine tax and accounting knowledge to improve business results

    • One Stream software preferred

    • This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside near an RTX hub in Hartford/Farmington CT

    The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
