Job Summary:

Pratt & Whitney, Columbus, a recognized leader in producing disks and airfoils for the aerospace propulsion market, is looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization. We have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Quality Engineering Tech to be based in Columbus, GA.

1st shift Monday - Friday 7a-4p

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for new product introduction including process support, troubleshooting, machine setup, and root cause analysis,

• Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities,

• Assist in the development of Peening and Media Finish Processes through development trials and data collection to establish capability,

• Interpret requirements to develop and maintain processes to manufacture parts and tooling to engineering blueprints ,

• Ability to assist in work instruction creation for manufacturing use,

• Interpret manufacturing inspection data to ensure product meets engineering blueprints

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months manufacturing experience

• 3 years technical experience

Additional Information:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
