What You Will Do
• Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier caused issues impacting the factory, working with other quality functions and cross-functional teams.
• Represent supplier quality as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier, corrective action board, FRACAS (Failure Review And Corrective Action System), and cost of poor-quality meetings.
• Analyze supplied material non-conformance data and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
• Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring robust root-cause analysis and corrective solutions are fully implemented
• Identify and support continuous product / process improvements using statistical / analytical tools such as APQP and lean manufacturing methodologies
• Drive continuous improvement and leverage lessons learned from supplied material non-conformances to reduce future risk across the supply chain
• Determine quality requirements for special process purchase orders originating from the factories.
Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering or related technical discipline
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes
• Experience with one or more of the following standards: AS9100, ISO-9001, AS9145
• Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
• Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
• Six Sigma, Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.)
• Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test and delivery
• High computer proficiency, including skills working with SAP/ PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
