The selected candidate will report into the Fire Control Radar Sustainment (FCRS) area which supports sustainment activities in multiple geographic locations, including El Segundo, CA; Forest, MS; Warner Robins, GA; and field sites.
What You Will Do
Implement and manage a Quality Management System and specific customer quality flow down requirements throughout the contract lifecycle and including vendor-flow-down.
Create or tailor existing quality planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements to Raytheon program teams and supply base, as needed.
Advise multi-functional teams in problem resolution and process improvement activities, with an emphasis on six sigma, lean, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) practices.
Interface directly with program management, cross-functional program leadership, suppliers, customers, government representatives, and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) partners.
Provide Quality technical support, including but not limited to developing build/production readiness information; Verifying all products are complete, integrated and tested; performance Acceptance Test surveillance; Control of Nonconforming Material (Prelim, MRB, FRB, NOE); Utilize quality measures and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Participate in supply base capability assessments and monitoring supplier performance.
Provide program direction to assure quality tasking is accomplished within budget, on time and as defined in program planning; develop Quality Planning and support business strategy planning (BOEs, LREs, EACs).
Conduct and/or monitor product and process assessments, including evaluating work and inspection instructions.
Conduct Quality Meetings and Reviews such as Corrective Action Board (CAB) and RCCA.
Occasional travel between the primary locations will be required.
The work hours are first shift, Monday through Friday, with flexible work arrangements available.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience.
Minimum eight years' experience in Quality Assurance in a design, development, test, transition to production, production, high-reliability environment.
Working experience with Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 and AS9100, configuration and data management, and implementation of internal and contractual quality requirements.
Working experience performing quality assurance functional activities in support of programmatic, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, test and post-delivery efforts.
Working experience driving effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action.
Working knowledge of material review and disposition of nonconforming material.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in bidding processes and development of proposals, including but not limited to writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
Familiarity with the Estimate At Complete (EAC) processes.
Working knowledge of Failure Review Analysis Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
Academic knowledge of Earned Value Management and project management (EAC, LRE).
Six Sigma Green Belt or Raytheon CORE Champion certified.
American Society of Quality (ASQ) Certification.
Must be an independent and self-motivated individual, able to influence, direct, and lead.
Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills; highly computer literate in desktop computing and application programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

The salary range for this role is 86,000 USD - 180,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
