    Position summary

    date will lead a team to perform detailed financial analysis for Operations and Supply Chain scope to help define and understand the monthly variances to budget via Earned Value Management and drive accuracy and predictability in quarterly EAC positions. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the sales forecast process, partnering with the sales forecasting team and functional teams to assess trends and provide forecast inputs to the program teams.

    This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

    What You Will Do

    • Lead the EAC (Estimate at Complete), Earned Value (EV), and Budget Change Requests (BCR) processes, as well as Budget Sign Up/Baseline activities as new scope is awarded

    • Mentor and develop direct reports, as well as other analysts within the team

    • Effectively partner with many stakeholders (Functional teams, Program Offices, IPT/CPTs leadership) to execute program

    • Collaborate with functional teams, IPT finance, factory finance, and business system teams to drive process improvement

    • Present cost and trend data to leads and directors during Program Reviews, EACs reviews, etc.

    • Support monthly sales forecast analysis for Material Sales and/or Labor Sales

    • Drive compliance in all processes and support audits of financial information by internal auditors, external auditors, and DCAA/DCMA auditors.

    • The successful candidate will provide meaningful business insight and analysis and will communicate effectively with all partners.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic

    • Typically requires 5+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3+ years prior relevant experience

    • Earned Value Experience

    • Experienced user of SAP or similar system

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

    • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems

    Qualifications We Prefer

    • Prior direct report supervisory experience

    • R6Sigma/CORE Specialist

    • Willingness to take on all challenges/ad hoc requests

    • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certified

    • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information in support of business portfolio

    • Prior experience with production scope (Ops/GSCM)

    • Analytical mindset

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information concisely to a cross functional team

    The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
