Senior Test Engineer (On Site)

alyze Hardware and Software Test requirements and specifications to determine Hardware and Software requirements.

• Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity & efficiency enhancements.

• Interact with Test Technicians, Factory Facilitators, Operations Managers, other Engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.

• Oversight for test equipment used for production purposes.

• Troubleshooting advanced RF subsystems.

• Performing flight test in Brooksville, FL which requires travel and off-shift work during test events.

• Analyzing radar track data.

• System setup to include sighting the ATNAVICS Sensor system.

• Generating flight test reports.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• Experience and able to work with, troubleshoot complex RF Subsystems.

• Willingness to support travel and off-shift hours during required flight testing events.

• Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment with standard EE lab/production equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, DMMs, Signal Sources, etc.)

• Experience working within a team environment.

• Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders.

• Experience with MS Office tool suite.

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current active Secret clearance.

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Ability to work with production equipment in a hands on capacity.

• Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the electrical engineering fields and general knowledge of other related disciplines.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and ability to multi-task.

• Team-oriented individual able to perform multidiscipline activities.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
