Join our team as a financial planning & analysis leader and strategic business partner who will be responsible for the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of financials for BMC2A programs and provide valuable strategic insight to senior management.
The position works closely with cross-functional leadership to understand the business and the associated financial assumptions, plans, risks, and opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for an FP&A professional to support a complex product line with a business base over $500M annually growing to $1B+, and work in a highly visible and diverse role.
Given the multiple locations to support, this role is being offered in a fully remote capacity with the ability to go onsite if desired. Team members reside in all time zones across the U.S.
What You Will Do
Lead and oversee the BMC2A Portfolio FP&A function, managing a team of two direct reports across multiple locations.
Partner closely with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
Prepare and analyze inputs for quarterly forecast for orders (bookings), sales, profit, and cash flow, and perform the same effort for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Financial Plan (SFP).
Identify/quantify risks and opportunities to ensure that the team and management are informed of the financial status and impact.
Work in a highly collaborative team setting within and across functional disciplines and ability to build and strengthen relationships with other functions/teams (Program Finance teams, Operations, Controllership, Program Management VSL's, Engineering, Contracts, Supply Chain)
Reconcile and provide detailed analysis of variances and summary of changes for the portfolio during the monthly closing and forecast processes.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results in compliance with corporate policies and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Understanding and utilizing FP&A tools and systems across organization.
Drive efficiencies through process improvement and establish FP&A best practices across BMC2A
Assist with special projects as heritage Raytheon and heritage Collins continue integration activities
Effective communication and coordination with Contracts in the Revenue Recognition process.
Qualifications You Must Have
Must have a minimum of 10+ years of professional experience Financial Planning and Analysis
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years of experience
Experience leading and or managing, coaching, developing training of team members.
Must have experience of key financial systems and tools (SAP, Rplan, AO, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support onsite leadership as the needs of the business would dictate.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience leading and or managing, coaching, developing training of team members. Heritage Raytheon financial systems knowledge, access, and skills required.
Must have experience evaluating data, developing financial models/plans/analyses/reports, and presenting solutions to problems/issues for which there is no established approach.
Creative problem-solving skills: individual will need to be comfortable working through complex processes and systems changes.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems (SAP, HP, HFM, OneStream)
Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and accounting principles

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
