Systems Engineer (Onsite)

Operations environment. Must have the ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime on a regular basis. Availability for non-scheduled call-ins is required. The job assignment also requires working a rotating day/night shift schedule, assigned based on the adaptable needs of the team.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Operations and maintenance of complex software and hardware systems.

• Report and document anomalous performance and interact with other team members to perform corrective actions.

• Cross-train in other assigned areas and assist with the training of other personnel on the contract team.

• Support test and/or operational activities as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience u.

• SATCOM, IT systems, and/or RF test equipment.

• Lift 50 lbs. safely.

• Work in elevated heights.

• Assigned tasks to meet technical objectives.

• Problem-solving in time-critical situations

• An active and in-scope TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Troubleshooting methodologies for diagnosing system problems.

• Experience training a wide range of learning techniques and styles.

• Proficient use of Windows and Linux platforms.

• Microsoft Office Suite

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
