    Position summary

    t least 6 months prior to DOS
    Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29
    Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
    Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
    Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
    Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.****

    A Calibration Physical Dimension Technician is responsible for performing calibration, verification, and maintenance activities on various dimensional measurement instruments and equipment. This role ensures the accuracy and reliability of measurement tools, allowing for precise and consistent measurements in various manufacturing and quality control processes. The technician works closely with engineers, quality control personnel, and production teams to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.

    Basic Qualifications/Experience Needed:**

    HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
    Military calibration experience
    Must be a U.S. Citizen

    Preferred Qualifications:**

    Experience with calibrated physical dimensions
    Current TMDE or PMEL
