Value Stream Lead - Second Shift

y readiness and management of up to 20+ employees within one shift. The VSL will be tasked to help test associates and production employees. The VSL will ensure the test associates and production employees are trained and working compliantly and safely with all the tools they need to maintain production rates.

The candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in both manufacturing and technical leadership roles. Also, the candidate will be able to provide valuable floor insight to a cross-functional (Operations, Engineering, Test Equipment, etc.) team.

This position is located at the Raytheon Dine Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX Dine Facility adheres To the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.

This is a second shift position.

What You Will Do

• Driving goals and accountability throughout cell

• Workforce planning and forecasting.

• Employee hiring, training, and unit hour performance.

• Area layout and flow management

• Ensuring the full compliance of company policies and procedures

• Knowledge of and operating within the contractual requirements set forth in a multiple production environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.

• Experience with shop floor management or supervisory experience.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

• Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.

• Experience executing assembly and/or test operations.

• Knowledge of manufacturing practices and instructions

• Knowledge of Quality practices and instructions

• Superior communication skills

• Experience in manufacturing line balancing

• Labor management including attendance, employee relations & behavior, administrative responsibilities, and employee performance.

• Ability to create/sustain a fair and equitable work environment.

• Lean manufacturing application

• Experience with test processes

• Knowledge of existing Raytheon execution systems (PRISM, SAP)

• Knowledge and use of Microsoft 365 (Office) Edge, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word

• Ability to develop solutions to problems of medium scope and complexity.

• Knowledge of sequencing for fabrication, assembly, installation, testing and other manufacturing operations relation to specific portion of the product.

• Excellent team skills

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
