Interacts with suppliers as it relates to vendor master data updates
Troubleshoots and assists in resolving issues while collaborating with the appropriate personnel to eliminate future occurrences; ensures impacted transactions are resolved in an accurate, complete, and timely manner
Maintains proper documentation of vendor master changes for use in periodic audits
Prepares payments accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with payment terms and vendor agreements
Follows internal controls and procedures and implements new controls or procedures that address the growth of SCE
Prepares guidelines for proper handling and coding of refunds to maintain accurate account records
Gathers financial data to identify trends aiming to improve discount capture rate
Ensures proper handling and accountability of checks that require special handling to be picked up by internal clients

Minimum Qualifications
Experience supporting the reconciliation of accounts payable and general ledger with other applicable records.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
Two (2) or more years of experience in an analytical position.
Experience using electronic invoicing platforms such as SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Cloud-based collaboration tools (Such as SharePoint and OneDrive).
Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional Information
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
