    Position summary

    Understands and applies business tools (financial, logistical, commercial, risk, cost analysis, etc.) to attain desired results

    • Identifies and executes energy purchasing opportunities through progressive purchasing contracts or long-term fixed deals

    • Ensures that corporate procurement policy and procedure is being followed

    • Conducts category management in accordance with the overall procurement strategy, processes and procedures and ensures category management delivers against targets and objectives

    • Identifies continuous improvement opportunities, assessing current and future business processes for best work practice, as well as innovative procurement solutions that provide cashable savings and process efficiencies for the organization

    • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Seven or more years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and/or contract management.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

    • Three (3) or more years of experience negotiating contracts for IT software, hardware, professional services, and end-user licensing agreements.

    • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

    • Experience with sourcing Technology related categories, leading cybersecurity in the supply chain, and with Agile Procurement and Project Management.

    • Ability to present recommendations and other communications regularly to all levels of the organization.

    • Experience with Ariba and SAP.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including oral presentations, formal correspondence and contractual documentation, group facilitation, and negotiations.

    Additional Information

    • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
