    Position summary

    ?

    A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

    • Lead the development of creative Operating Unit (OU) solutions and developing and making presentations for senior OU leadership teams to gain consensus and direction on strategic OU initiatives.

    • Partner with the Compensation Programs team to ensure OU-specific compensation programs, policies, processes are aligned with Corporate Compensation program framework and guidelines.

    • Analyze internal and external salary data, conduct job evaluations, and assess market pricing for internal positions. Recommend job levels and titles aligned with company guidelines and structure.

    • Lead innovative solutions for total compensation challenges. Collaborate with senior management to administer compensation programs. Prepare presentations for senior leadership to align on strategic initiatives.

    • Lead the assessment, development, and implementation of integrated compensation processes and OU-specific policies ensuring alignment with corporate policies and guidelines.

    • Lead compensation communication efforts for assigned OUs.

    • Partner with labor relations for issues involving assigned OUs.

    The essentials

    • Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.

    • Five or more years of compensation experience.

    The preferred

    • Compensation principles and industry practice (including job evaluations, market pricing and total rewards) knowledge.

    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail essential.

    • Ability to communicate effectively and influence both verbally and in writing, including solid presentation skills and strong communication skills to manage key stakeholders and interact professionally with all levels within the organization.

    • High personal standards of excellence, commitment and integrity while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

    • Working knowledge of FLSA and OFCCP regulations.

    • Time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a demanding and fast-paced work environment; sense of urgency around timely issue resolution.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced level Excel skills needed including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables and macros.

    • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

    • The primary work location for this position is Irwindale, CA.

    • Relocation does not apply to this position.
