    Position summary

    omplex interconnection requests to SCE's transmission and distribution systems

    • Interfaces cross functionally with multiple internal partners, stakeholders, and large scale clients throughout the lifecycle of an interconnection request that comes through the queue

    • Facilitiates the process of utility studies (feasibility, system impact, and facility) associated with complex interconnection requests by leading scope meetings, partnering with Engineering to complete the studies, and communicating results of the studies back to customers

    • Coordinates, prepares, and negotiates the complex interconnection agreements and other related agreements including requests for amendment

    • Publishes results of complex interconnection studies and/or screening processes by SCE's technical groups

    • Maintain accurate interconnection data in SCE's internal databases and systems

    • 'Integrate work across relevant disciplines within SCE, balancing customer service with regulatory and business needs, while managing risks appropriately

    • 'Applies interconnection processes and procedures with tariffs and rules, which include CAISO, Wholesale Distribution Access Tariff, and CPUC Rule 21

    • Support Regulatory Affairs and other internal stakeholders in key proceedings and filings and policy development

    • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Ten or more years of combined experience negotiating contracts or agreements.

    • Leading and managing contracts related to the power grid.

    Preferred Qualifications

    u00a0

    • Master's degree or other Post-Graduate degree (such as MBA, JD) in Business, Law, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related technical discipline.

    • Five or more years of experience in managing multi-year projects in a utility environment with power system planning and interconnection studies or interconnection procedures (CAISO, WDAT, and Rule 21).

    • Demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant disciplines within SCE, balancing customer service with regulatory and business needs, while managing risks appropriately.

    • Professional Engineering or Project Management Certification.

    • This positionu2019s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
