Undertakes the acquisition, processing, integration, and cleaning of data from multiple sources to support the organization's strategic decision making
Initiates the scoping, planning, design and delivery of Data Analytics activities as a part of relevant and forward-looking analytics roadmap
Ensures data for analysis meets data quality standards and is interoperable with other data sets, enabling reuse
Streamlines analytics and data integration processes through scripting and automation of data ingestion and transformation
Promotes data literacy within the organization, ensuring stakeholders understand and can effectively use data and analytics tools
Contributes towards partnerships within the organization group, proactively engaging and liaising with functional teams on analytics to deliver impactful programs using data
Builds and supports data structures that can be leveraged by business units across the organization
Develops advanced analytics products that provide actionable business insight to key stakeholders
Designs and builds data visualizations to engage audiences in a compelling way, and to enable effective storytelling
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
Five or more years of experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, SAS or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or other related discipline.
Ability to create custom database queries and reports.
Experience working with Federal or State regulatory compliance entities and programs such as ISO, NERC/FERC and CPUC.
Experience facilitating the integration of data from different sources and performing synchronization on an ongoing basis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience developing and presenting technical information.
Additional Information
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
