Thereafter, the Senior Advisor will build strategic recommendations for executive leadership and will partner with their SMS team to develop project plans for execution and to incorporate into business plans across the enterprise. MoC is critically important as mitigations are implemented so that we can ensure that risk reduction is gleaned.
Efforts in this position will be responsible for, but not limited to: leading stakeholder teams to develop and execute mitigation plans, make recommendations to executives, develop metrics for mitigation measures, oversee tracking of mitigation metrics, and determine adjustments/continuous improvements for MOC processes.
This senior advisor will also contribute to the broader safety culture transformation, serious injury and fatality elimination and overall injury reduction.

Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and running enterprise-wide safety programs and initiatives; develops new processes and programs to drive Edison Safety strategic objectives
Acts as a lead, coordinating with technical experts in areas of safety culture, safety management systems and strategy; influences decisions on practices and policies to internal or external partners
Analyzes unique and complex technical problems and delivers solutions where precedent may not exist
Establishes project objectives and manages timelines, risk analysis, milestones, deliverables and budgets; approves tasks and schedule necessary for successful project execution and drives problem solving and issue resolution
Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results; work is checked through consultation and agreement with others rather than by formal review of management
Drives implementation of safety programs, policies and procedure for the enterprise independently with strategic decisions recommended to senior management
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments
Responsible for influencing company leadership on major initiatives and implements strategic projects
Responsible for presenting, facilitating, and providing recommendations at executive forums and developing materials and reports for company leadership
Conducts training and presentations related to Safety projects and programs at an advanced level
Provides guidance about work activities to colleagues
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity
Minimum Qualifications
Ten or more years of experience with health and safety compliance programs, activities, and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Risk Management
Experience leading Management of Change at a utility.
Experience leading a Safety Management System per ANSI Z.10 requirements.
Experience managing complex projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various levels of leadership.
Additional Information
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
