Responsibilities
Provides technical and administrative direction on all Safety policies and programs which bear critical importance to overall corporate objectives, operations and profitability
Manages incident reporting and follow-up programs, including the analysis of trends and improvements
Develops and leads the Governance and Assurance programs along with the Environmental, Health and Safety Management System for the company
Maintains relevant safety training certifications of relevance to the company's operations; schedules and coordinates employee safety training programs
Develops and executes health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
Manages third party Environmental, Health and Safety providers across the company's portfolio, driving safety culture and ensuring compliance with the company's standards and procedures
Develops, implements, monitors, provides presentations and ensures compliance for company Environmental, Health and Safety management systems
Provides oversight and guidance in the assessment of Environmental, Health and Safety policies, procedures, programs, and systems
Serves in an emergency response role as part of the Company's Incident Management Team in supporting crisis response. This role requires periodic on-call reporting during the day, night, and weekends as emergencies arise
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity
Minimum Qualifications
Five or more years combined experience performing or supervising function, experience leading and developing health and safety compliance programs, activities and systems
Possess a valid Class C Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Safety Management Systems
Experience leading complex, high visibility Safety programs at a utility
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint
Additional Information
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

Position will require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
