Senior Engineer 1, Ready Grid

d reviewing grid technologies, building relationships to facilitate cross-functional knowledge transfer of related work groups

• Leads the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders

• Collaborate and lead with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless development, integration and implementation of future technologies and asset performance management strategies

• Assists in a variety of engineering and business initiatives and grid strategies, including development of innovative procedures and design recommendations

• Provides support for new equipment installation and startup, then leads the hand over processes to the ramp and sustaining phases

• Leads junior engineers in investigation of threats on the distribution system infrastructure based on observations and findings

• Gathers and correlates basic data using engineering studies and procedures, which may include routine and diagnostic testing of components and systems

• Facilitates training and professional development opportunities for engineering team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in a scientific/technical/math field.

• Seven or more years of experience performing engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.

• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bacheloru2019s degree or higher in electrical engineering, power systems, or relatedu00a0

• 5+ years of experience in utility planning, load forecasting, or grid operations

• Strong understanding of electric utility infrastructure, planning, scoping, identifying utility grid solutions or mitigations, and regulatory frameworks.

• Proficiency in system analysis tools (e.g., CYME, Python, PSLF, or load forecasting software).

• Professional Engineer (PE) License

• Demonstrated experience preparing detailed engineering studies and reports.

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly capture technical information and presenting to management.

• A passion for innovation and implementing cutting-edge technologies to enhance system reliability and performance.

• This positionu2019s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
