    Position summary

    e compliance with local, state, national, and international regulations governing energy engineering projects

    • Identifies areas for process improvement and implements strategies to enhance engineering efficiency and productivity

    • Deploys improvement initiatives and tracks progress using relevant metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the continuous improvement efforts

    • Addresses any performance issues promptly and creates improvement plans when necessary

    • Plans, designs and oversees the infrastructure of power distribution systems, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards

    • Coordinates and prioritizes activities within the team to ensure efficient project execution; aids in managing resources and budget activities to achieve strict compliance with the company's guidelines

    • Evaluates and recommends investments in infrastructure, equipment, and technology to support the long-term growth and competitiveness of the engineering department

    • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in a scientific/technical/math field.

    • Ten or more years of experience performing engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.

    • Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

    Technical Expertise

    • Experience in scientific and data management programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA) and power system analysis tools.

    • Strong background in electric system planning, including distribution system analysis and forecasting, with experience leading new engineering/analytics processes or technical standards.

    • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and utility planning processes.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including external stakeholders.

    • Experience leading development and deployment of new software solutions across large and matrixed organizations.

    Additional Information

    • This positionu2019s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.u202f Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.u202f Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
