Oversees the monthly inspection of substation properties and facilities for safety, system integrity, and environmental compliance,
Coordinates and develops construction programs and detailed switching procedures to accommodate system configuration changes
Confirms appropriate operation of equipment and compliance with system requirements, procedures, and protocols, driving a safety-focused culture among staff
Participates in investigations of substation equipment failures and performance errors, identifying and resolving key issues promptly and effectively through corrective action
Balances support for change initiatives and new technologies without compromising cost efficiency
Monitors and develops workloads to facilitate smooth workflow and resource utilization throughout the workforce
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
Four or more years of combined experience performing/supervising planning, design, maintenance, standard & development, system operations, or engineering in a substation operations environment.
Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supervising union employees in an electric utility.
Experience in grid operations and/or power system management.
