Maintain structures and grounds, including general housekeeping and upkeep of assigned facilities
Transport parts, materials, and supplies between powerhouses, warehouses, and work locations
Support electricians, mechanics, operators, and other crews by providing general assistance as needed
Provide logistical support, including occasional meal shuttling during extended or outage work
Observe equipment and facilities and report abnormal conditions to appropriate personnel
Follow written and verbal instructions and comply with safety and operational requirements
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
General custodial work experience in hands-on, physical, or industrial environments
Ability to work a 4x10 schedule (Monday-Thursday)
Valid Class C driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing maintenance, custodial, landscaping, or general labor work in industrial, utility, or operational environments
Comfort working in remote and mountainous environments and commuting daily to Big Creek facilities
Demonstrated curiosity with strong desire to gain exposure to multiple crafts (operations, mechanical, electrical)
Ability to follow instructions, work safely in and around operational facilities, and recognize/report any abnormal conditions
Additional Information
This position's work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

The primary work location for this position is Big Creek Lower Canyon region with significant travel throughout the regional SCE service territory.
This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
Relocation does not apply to this position.
This position requires testing and applicants who are identified to continue through the selection process will be invited to test via email. Reference our Information Guides for the following tests: (EEI TECH (Test #5105)). Candidates who have previously passed these assessment(s), in some cases, may not need to retest again for this position.
