ever, this position will be expected to frequently interface with mechanics and/or engineers in the media production environment. The manufacturing areas may be outdoors (cold temperature extremes) or indoors (high temperature extremes). This environment also requires the use of PPE such as hearing protection, hard hat, safety glasses, and protective shoes. Certain areas in the manufacturing buildings also require hair nets, beard/mustache covers and Tyvek clothing. Certain areas restrict the use of unapproved electronic devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly Mechanical operating parameter, maintenance, capacity and efficiency reporting and review expectations
Supervise and perform inspections, associated with critical operations
Maintain Critical Spare Parts inventory and reporting Library
Analyze and troubleshoot complex systems failures
Coordinate installation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, building control systems
Manage and document critical infrastructure work orders and service requests
Manage vendor activities, monitor progress to ensure objectives are achieved for outsourced maintenance operations
Interact with facility CMMS manager to streamline comfort control efficiencies
Manage and administrate building control systems and electrical equipment monitoring platform
Develop and maintain operational process, procedures and operational policies
Develop and improve preventative maintenance programs, schedules, work instructions, SOP's and operational procedures
Provide routine reporting
Qualifications:
Five years' experience as a facility engineer, preferably in computer room/data center environments, or similar experience.
Knowledge of and experience with critical building electrical systems, chillers, mechanical systems, fire alarm and suppression systems, building control and monitoring systems and security equipment
CT D2 or S2 licenses required
Experience in building controls, electrical & UPS systems. Ability to quickly learn such systems, utilizing operations manuals, blue prints and similar documentation
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and operate a variety of hand and power tools
Flexibility to work any shift and/or on weekends.
Thorough knowledge in all building systems operations, maintenance and repair.
Universal Technician for CFCs
Experience with BMS, Smart Building and CMMS software systems a plus
