YOUnity also focuses on building a unique and inclusive environment where every employee and customer is valued, respected and supported. Our YOUnity activities have included Diwali, National Coming Out Day, Veterans/Remembrance/Memorial Day, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Black History Month, Women’s History Month, LGBTQ+ Pride Month and many more.

Ceridian is deeply committed to supporting your career development and growth through our Career Development Program. We believe that if you’re in a job that you love and that aligns with your strengths, you win, our customers win and Ceridian wins! Thanks to the feedback from our employees, we know that many employees want opportunities for growth and development. What we also know is that growth and development can look very different to each of us. The Career Development Program was designed to offer you four different “Tracks” that will offer you support and guidance as you develop yourself and your career.
Take 2: Ceridian encourages employees to “Take 2”, a program that allows them to take up to two hours to be with their families, attend events or to simply take care of personal business when necessary. Programs like Take 2 are based on trust and empowerment, qualities Ceridian’s leadership and all team members embrace.
Time Away From Work (TAFW): Ceridian’s flexible, autonomous and engaging program. With TAFW, our people can take the time they need, when they need it. It’s often challenging to balance work and personal lives – TAFW helps employees be the best version of themselves at work and home. Properly supporting the rest and relaxation needs of our people allows them to bring the best version of themselves to work.
Ceridian believes life experiences outside of the office drive our culture of excellence as much as those within the workplace. We support a family-first philosophy with our inclusive Parental Leave program. This initiative is designed to support caregivers whether they become a new parent by birth, adoption or through foster care placement of a child. This Parental Leave program reflects our commitment to our people and our brand promise, Makes Work Life Better™.
In addition to our formal leave programs, we have a variety of flexible scheduling options and work arrangements to help our employees work at a pace that is best for themselves and their families. Our Adoption Benefit provides financial support to help our employees with a portion of adoption expenses, paying 100% of all eligible expenses (such as legal and court fees, agency fees, transportation, and medical fees) up to a maximum of $5,000 per child. Through supporting all new parents, our people can feel peace of mind while bonding with their children and family
All employees working full-time and part-time in the US are eligible for short-term disability benefits as of their date of hire. New mothers receive 100% of their ‘covered income’ (3 year look back of all earnings) for the first 6 or 8 weeks after delivery, which is considered their short-term disability. Following the 6 or 8 weeks of short-term disability they receive additional parental leave pay at 100% of base salary for up to an additional 8 weeks, for a total 14 weeks of total financial support after delivery.
All facilities with more than 100 employees include lactation rooms with locks on the doors, dedicated refrigerators for milk storage, and new furniture and flooring.
Our UnitedHealthcare plans do have fertility coverage. There is a lifetime limit of $25,000, broken out by $15,000 medical and $10,000 pharmacy. Deductible and co-insurance apply.
We offer a match of up to $500 in our Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending plan, which can be used for child care or elder care.
