- in the benefits handbook it says there's only 12 weeks maternity - I don't know where people are getting 16 at oracle.
- correction: only 12 weeks in handbook for employees outside of CA
- If you are an employee in California, you get 12 weeks. If you are anywhere else in the US, you get 6 or 8 weeks, as you only receive short term disability.

- 10 weeks paid paternal leave was announced in 2018 and moms get the normal short term disability which is 6 weeks for normal birth and 8 for c section.
- 6 weeks short term disability leave + 10 weeks paid parental leave

- Oracle only offers 3 days of paternity leave. There might be countries where they have additional weeks due to Government regulations, however Oracles global policy for paid parental leave is only 3 days.
