      Overview

      Terminix provides a maternity leave program, as well as a parental leave program.

      Paid maternity
      Yes, Short-term disability (STD) is provided for 6 - 8 weeks depending upon type of delivery. After STD ends, the teammate is eligible for the remainder of a total 12-week period at the same percent of pay as STD. An extra week of leave (total of 13-weeks) is provided at 100% pay.
      Paid paternity
      Yes, Terminix offers 40-hours of paid-parental year per birth for the non-birthing spouse or domestic partner (as documented). Parental Leave is granted to run concurrently with FMLA Bonding Time and is available per birth (multiple births provide the same benefit as a single birth)
      Unpaid paternity
      Yes, 12 weeks -- FMLA bonding time

      Yes, Teammates may be eligible for an unpaid Personal Leave for up to 90-days based on the Manager's discretion.
      Paid adoptive
      Yes, Terminix offers 40-hours of paid-parental year per birth for adoption or the placement of a foster child. Parental Leave is granted to run concurrently with FMLA Bonding Time.
      Short term disability
      Yes, STD is offered as mentioned above (runs concurrently with FMLA).  STD pays 66.67% of pay for anyone who has worked for Terminix less than five years.  The amount increases to 80% of pay for anyone who has worked five years or longer with Terminix.
      Maternity-Related Benefits
      Overview

      Terminix offers Flexible Spending Accounts for dependent care.  This program provides for teammates to put pre-tax dollars into an account that they can then withdraw to reimburse themselves or pay their licensed dependent care provider.  

      Terminix offers Maternity Leave and Parental Leave (non-birthing parent regardless of gender).  More information for these programs as listed below.

      Of course, Terminix provides for job protection under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), should a teammate need to care for a family member or bond with a new member of the family.  What makes Terminix unique is that Terminix provides the same benefits as FMLA should someone work at a location that has less than 50 employees within a 75-mile radius.
