FWAs are agreed-upon work hours or work locations that differ from the company’s, department’s or business unit’s standard work hours or locations. Examples may include:
Telecommuting (one or two days per week regularly)

A compressed work week (e.g., work 38.75 hours in four days), or an expanded work week (e.g. work 38.75 hours in six days)

When welcoming a child into your family, there are job protection benefits provided by the federal or state government or by our company. Salary is covered in full for six or eight weeks depending on delivery type (vaginal or cesarean). There are also paid company benefits that apply for two weeks beyond short-term disability time and employees can additionally apply available PTO days. The Hanover recognizes the importance of time away from work for the birth or adoption of a child. We also offer inclusive parental leave benefits of two weeks paid time to our workforce so spouses, domestic partners and adoptive parents can spend time bonding with their child.

We recognize that employees thrive when they have time off from work during the course of the year to address personal needs, illness, religious observances and leisure pursuits. PTO is available on the first day of employment and begins at 20 days annually plus nine paid company holidays. The amount of PTO for each employee is determined based on length of service and/or job level and can accrue up to 30 days for long-tenured employees. We also offer two weeks of paid FMLA leave to take care of family members in need. Employees can utilize their PTO according to their personal needs and have the option to purchase five additional PTO days during the company’s open enrollment period.
