The Women’s Leadership Network is an employee resource group that helps women thrive at West Monroe. We work with the entire firm to achieve gender parity and an employee base of women that is reflective of the communities and clients we serve. The network focuses on fostering an inclusive culture by enhancing recruitment, retention, and professional development for women.

To operationalize Unconscious Bias training into our culture at West Monroe we offer a course that encourages us to identify bias, combat biases through cultivating connections, and taking courageous action to initiate change. Led by FranklinCovey this one-day session includes self-reflection and small group activities meant to encourage transparent conversations and storytelling to move towards progress. This training is required for directors and above.
West Monroe understands the importance and urgency of career advising and mentorship to fulfill our mission of building the next generation of leaders. The Career Champions program is designed provide access to mentors (men and women leaders) across the firm that can be sponsors, connectors and advocates for our women as they progress in their careers.

leaders strongly support the growth and development of all our people and budget accordingly. They have also mandated Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements through our curriculum and/or relevant external training courses. Each team member must attain a minimum of 40 CPE credits on an annual basis.
through The Fischer Global Service Fellowship Program, West Monroe employees can take a three to six-month sabbatical leave to support a philanthropic and humanitarian issue of interest anywhere in the world. This program gives our employees the outlet to take an extended leave to do work that matters, without leaving the firm. So far, 28 of our employees have completed fellowships to support causes including literacy, clean water, gender equity, mental/behavioral health, economic empowerment, infrastructure development, human trafficking, and the refuge crisis in Greece, while receiving a portion of their salary and continuity of their benefits while on leave. As leaders and volunteers in the community, participants make a tremendous impact on behalf of the organizations they serve.

We recognize that there are times that employees may need greater work-life flexibility. That is why we have implemented a flexible work arrangement policy to provide our people an opportunity to request flexible schedules suited to their individual needs. We want to create a partnership with our people that allows us to find the balance that works for wherever they are in their journey. In some situations, we can create a schedule that allows our people to adjust their responsibilities while ensuring they are able to continue contributing to West Monroe in a meaningful way. All of our employees are issued a laptop and our systems can be accessed from anywhere, allowing employees the freedom to balance their professional lives with their personal needs. Back-up Care offers adaptive, flexible support for employees’ child and dependent care needs. West Monroe employees can access last-minute care for children, adult dependents, and elders. Employees also have access to savings, discounts, and assistance in securing ongoing child care, pet care, and more. Our employees can also utilize the Bright Horizons facilities or in home care at a non-discounted rate.
