Innovation is the lifeblood of our company and a key reason our female technologists love working at Cirrus Logic. Their careers at Cirrus Logic afford them the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled, educated and diverse group of engineering colleagues. Our female technologists see how the company strives to cultivate an inclusive workplace where all employees feel they belong, diverse perspectives are valued, and where everyone has equal opportunities to succeed. Many women in the company are active in the Women’s Leadership Team, an Employee Resource Group (ERG), whose membership strives to cultivate an inclusive environment that provides support and encouragement through connection, mentorship, collaboration, and discussion. As part of the company’s efforts to continuously improve our corporate culture and work environment, all employees are encouraged to participate in a variety of surveys throughout the year. Feedback is solicited regarding company management, training and development, communications, and work environments, as well as encouraging ideas for improvement in all aspects of our operations.
We do this as a company to provide direction in creating programs and practices that motivate and reward our employees while helping their families thrive. We understand the importance of work and the desire for career growth while emphasizing family-friendly programs for a greater work/life balance and job satisfaction. We support our employees through an ongoing mix of in-house training and knowledge share events to help advance work skills and leadership potential, as well as wellness programs and exceptional benefits intended to enhance the quality of their lives outside of work. Our family-friendly benefits include paid parental leave, discounts on child and elder care, emotional wellness programs, flexible work schedules, and on-site medical care for employees and all eligible dependents.

Cirrus Logic has more than 3,580 issued and pending patents worldwide and counting.
Because we recognize the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion to our long-term success, we are focused on increasing engagement with all genders and underrepresented groups. As a result, we have adopted strategies to create an even more inclusive work environment that is truly representative of all sections of society and fosters a culture where employees feel respected and where they are able to give their best. We also have adapted our hiring programs to encourage diversity, and we continuously work to enhance our recruiting and onboarding processes to create an inclusive and positive work environment.
As an engineering-driven company, we recognized the unique gender gap that exists in the technology industry which presents significant hiring and workforce challenges. Making it even more challenging is that Cirrus Logic’s engineering skill requirements – analog and mixed-signal technologies – are highly specialized even within the electrical engineering disciplines, further significantly reducing the overall hiring talent availability. Recognizing this dynamic, we continue to address the gender balance of the workforce and focus on increasing the number of women in our organization through a variety of internal programs designed to empower and support women at Cirrus Logic. One such effort was to create our first Employee Resource Group (ERG) – the Women’s Leadership Team – whose membership is open to all employees and provides support and encouragement through connection, mentorship, collaboration, and discussion.
Externally, we continue to address the gender balance of the workforce by increasing the number of women in our organization through a variety of programs that focus on encouraging female participation in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. For example, Cirrus Logic sponsors the University of Texas ECE Next program, whose goal is to increase and maintain the number of women, Black and Hispanic students represented in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). Program participants are selected from the University of Texas, as well as nearby historically Black colleges and universities and Hispanic-Serving Institutions, and are provided with mentorship and research opportunities. Other similar efforts include providing financial support, such as scholarships and sponsorships, for organizations and networks that cultivate professional development for women and encourage female and minority participation in engineering fields. In our FY21 alone, we provided $120,000 in scholarships to encourage women in STEM undergraduate programs to complete their engineering degrees.
