I believe they are doing their best to employ and promote more woman, but it is a very male-dominated company.

Worked here for 12 years thru a lot of change. Women are typically in support roles and if a women is in management they are not treated with same respect as her male counterparts are. Women have to work harder for a promotion and the factor that we are "caregivers" moving in a higher positions would not be consider suitable. Make mgmt believes women can not handle the "extra" responsibilities.
