It can be an intense place, but very fulfilling if you want to learn and practice among the best. I continue to learn and be challenged on a daily basis, and never get bored on this job.

Merit based workplace with a lot of female leadership. But benefits are not favorable for women by way of maternity leave, medical, lifestyle specific. Work-life balance has to be protected carefully and intentionally.

Working with the right partner and senior is everything. There are people who are proud of the fact that they have no outside life, brag about working all-nighters and talk about missing the birth of their children. Sadly, these people are not rare -- even if they may be in the minority. The fact that the culture tolerates that kind of thing speaks volume about the possibility of having work-life balance at this firm.
