Since day one i loved it everyone treats eachother with respect. The managers are awsome, you never feel less superior than them. At least at the target i work at everyone is like family. This was my first job after being a stay at home mom i was nervous about starting always hearing friends and family complain about there jobs and then when i started till now i love it and have no plans to quit. Minimum wage is the down part but i know theres always room to grow and plenty of chances to advance in the company.

Be forthcoming and know who your Asset Protections / Loss Prevention person is. Be vigilant of customers, especially if you work on the sales floor or near the fitting rooms.

Great place to work! I highly reccomend - outcomes are important to them, but open to how it is accomplished (flex schedules, work from home)
Have Things Gotten Better, Worse, or Stayed The Same For Women at Target Corporation in The Past Year?

Say Gotten Worse
Things have gotten worse for everyone. Senior leadership seems unable to land on a strategy that will truly right the sinking ship. Key C-suite and officer-level leaders continue to exit in droves. Career progression has completely stalled -- there's not even lateral movement, let alone advancement opportunities. CEO and Leadership Team continue to hire white men for key senior leader roles; diversity is heading in the absolute wrong direction. As senior executives leave, the majority of back-fill hires have been cis white men. Women and POC executive new-hires are NOT well onboarded, supported or retained, and tend to leave or be forced out after just 6-18 months. Finally, the women's an other affinity group ERGs are less active and not providing (or not allowed to provide?) the same caliber of programming that they have in the past.
