"Target is a fantastic company. Target is a forward looking progressive company that has been leading in retail for years. Back in the 90's Target understood what the future retail landscape would look like. They made the investments in technology & training for speed and efficiency. Target built their foundation hiring a diverse work force. Target is supportive of Womens leadership at entry & mid level positions. Target like many corporations today, have a significant growth opportunity for women's leadership in high level positions. Having "representation" of female leadership in high levels positions will simply be viewed as a social compliance, Unless genuine efforts are made to balance equality in C-Suite leadership. As we have seen for the last 100 years inequality perpetuates inequality.
It starts at the Top and the Time is Now. "

"Speak up if a leader is inappropriate with you. Better to get a new job than be treated poorly but I think that most senior leadership wants to know if there is an issue. Give them the opportunity to address it."
