"Be very careful when you interview and really evaluate the people and the duties of the role. This company loves hiring white males 20s to 30s and promoting them very quickly, often beyond women who are older and have more smarts and experience. Finance in particular is a real good ole boys club. Women in Finance are often given behind-the-scenes, unglamorous roles with high workloads in order to free up the boys to play politics and do more visible, career-building work. I felt like I was in a 1950s-era American office. "

"There is definitely a lot of opportunity at this company. It is fast paced, great results, innovative and fun. However, it does take women longer to advance in their careers and we don't see a ton of women in Director+ roles. Asurion is moving in the right direction but they need to start getting more progressive and competitive with diversity, benefits for women and bringing more women into key leadership roles. "
