"As Centene has grown and acquired other companies , it’s lost its culture. While some teams may be better in general Women have been pushed out of senior leadership roles only to be replaced with mediocre narcissists. Favoritism and boys club games run rampant and women are penalized if they even try to have boundaries. It hasn’t always been like this but as of 12/2021 not being allowed to join all men meetings is rampant and well known. If you are lucky enough to be invited as the only woman you will be bullied, demeaned and laughed at even as a leader. Salary equity is a joke it’s pretty rampant to be making 30% less than your male peers while still out performing and having more experience than them. HR does nothing and exit surveys aren’t even being done. If you want a long lasting career and you want one in leadership with upward mobility don’t go to Centene. "

"Very old-school, giant company. Lots of lay offs a couple times a year, very basic benefits, no work from home before COVID. Most processes are done by word of mouth and every team is left to fend for themselves and manually hunt down cross functional teams and resources. Ticketing systems for HR and IT but that is it. So much turnover. I love my bosses but I got VERY lucky."
